Heavy Cotton Victory Tees by Gildan
Gildan just sent us a package. It contained two samples of their new Heavy Cotton Victory Tees. Sadly, they sent us two identical samples of the ladies cut. However, it would have been nice to receive both a men’s and ladies cut for comparison!
Victory T-shirt Colors & Sizes
Both styles come in eight matching color combos.

The men’s cut (G500VT) comes in sizes XS to 3XL. The women’s cut (G500VTL) comes in sizes S-2XL.
Victory T-shirt Features
Both shirt styles are made with 5.3 oz cotton & polyester blends.
- Heather Red/White, Heather Maroon/White, Heather Navy/White, Heather Royal/White, Graphite Heather/Black are 50% cotton, 50% polyester
- Ash Grey is 99% cotton, 1% polyester/Graphite Heather (sleeve stripes) 50% cotton, 50% polyester
- White is 100% cotton/Graphite Heather (sleeve stripes) 50% cotton, 50% polyester
Both shirt styles have the following features
- Taped neck and shoulders
- Tear away label
- Contrast self-fabric sleeve stripes
- Double needle sleeve and bottom hems
The G500VT (men’s cut) has:
- Quarter-turned to eliminate center crease
- Seamless double needle 7/8 collar
While the G500VTL (ladies cut) has:
- Semi-fitted contoured silhouette with side seam
- Seamless double needle 1/2 collar
Recommendations for Use
The term “Victory Tee” brings any sport-related use to mind. For instance, these shirts could make team uniforms or spirit-wear shirts. The softness of the shirt makes them very comfortable. Additionally, they would even make great shirts for a casual Sunday-Fun-day with a humorous design on them.
